"Visited MMB yesterday & said yes to the dress 🎉 Both ladies were super helpful & friendly, I really felt at ease during my appointment. Refreshments were offered when we arrived & there were some snacks out which I thought was a cute touch. I was able to try on plenty of dresses & felt no pressure when doing so. My friend accompanied me to the appointment & she was also made to feel welcomed & involved. My dress was amazing value for money & I was given a little bag with some fizz & chocs to take with me, which was a lovely added touch. I would definitely recommend MMB to other brides to be xxx"

"So, where shall I start. Charlene and Melissa are fab. I sent some pictures in advance to give an idea of what I wanted. On the day of the appointment, I went alone and was made to feel as though it was all about me. They suggested a few dresses then we chose some more together. I tried them on and after narrowing down to two, chose a beautiful dress and went home happy. Overnight, I had a panic that I'd not chosen the right dress. I rang up and went back in my lunch break with my daughter-in-law to retry both dresses and get a second opinion. I won’t tell you the outcome now but promise to update after the wedding. All I would say is trust these girls, they really know their stuff. Both appointments were completely relaxed, and the staff we met on the second visit were just as lovely. "I came to MMB looking for a vow renewal gown in black (not an easy task as some bridal shops don't do them, only 'prom' type dresses). I was very anxious and apprehensive as being a plus size, I had been elsewhere and treated differently due to my larger size and dress colour requests. At MMB I was absolutely floored! I got voice notes leading up to my appointment letting me know what to expect and eased my concerns and let me know what was available but the standout was- From the minute my daughter and I arrived I felt like a queen. Charl and Sophie were amazing consultants; they listened to what I wanted, treated me as a size 20 as they would a size 10 bride (and believe me from experience this is not the norm). I found the perfect dress with them and they could even make the little tweaks needed after speaking to their seamstress there and then! My daughter had been with me on all appointments and said this was like the part in Pretty Woman where the other shop is mean and then they have an amazing time at the other. If you go to one shop for your bridal appointment, whether it be your wedding, vow renewal, or bridesmaids, Melissa Marie Bridal is perfect. Nothing is too much; the alterations are available in-house, and the follow-up care is second to none (anything I asked was answered and fully explained). If you have ever watched Say Yes to the Dress and want the full Randy treatment when choosing your gown, this is your place regardless of size or budget."
